Spring Lights Valdez Valley

Born Alice Geneva Glasier, Kloss studied at the University of California at Berkeley, the California School of Fine Arts at San Francisco, and the Oakland School of Arts and Crafts, before visiting Taos in 1925. Beginning in 1929 she wintered at Berkeley, spending the remainder of the year at Taos before moving there permanently after World War II.
