Spring

This artwork was created in an early spring after the artisan’s field trip to the deep mountains of the Taihang Mountain range. All the elements such as the still complete antithetical couplet on the door, the budding trees in the distance and returning sheep flocks that have been fed full are suggesting that spring is coming, and so is the enthusiastic rustling spring ploughing.
