Sprout

Sprout, the artist's title, is self explanatory. Titles given by the creators can have visual and imaginary interpretations. Alexander Calder’s 'Mobile' - one sees the movements of it and moves on or is curious about how uneven sides balance. Then one has to go back and imagine the century old hand-held vegetable scale and relate the principles of the scale to the Mobile.'Sprout', a new shoot appears to grow in maturity and then a tiny green appears on its side to mature- the cycle of process continues. The artist has added a piece at a time and stopped when his eyes were pleased.
