Heavily potted grey stoneware body, moulded to a square shape with pronounced central depression surrounded by a heavy, everted flat lip; interior, exterior, and base covered with irregular, thick greenish-grey glaze; interior decorated with irregular lines of thick greenish-brown glaze poured on rapidly from a ladle.
