The emerging archaeological park of St. Kvirin has been explored for the past 20 years and is gradually being opened to the public. Multi-layered Roman architecture spanning several centuries was discovered on the site. The most representative, along with the defensive rampart, is the monumental northern entrance to Roman Siscia from the 2nd/3rd century AD. century above which the baroque chapel of St. Kvirin was built.
