St. Mauritius, Tholey

The foundations of the Gothic St. Mauritius abbey in Tholey go back to Roman times. The vertical panorama displays the northern aisle from the vertex of the four-part cross-rib vault to the simple single altar of the side choir. The panoramic photography makes the sacred interior perceptible as a whole and gives a noble sense of space.
