St. Peter´s cathedral, Regensburg

The St. Peter´s cathedral in Regensburg is a typical gothic church from the 13th century. Characteristic are the gargoyles and other statues with terrifying faces. In the medieval times people have been very superstitious. These statues should prevent the evil entering the buildings.
