Produced by the Kempe studio in 1905, this stained glass window shows St Anne and the Virgin Mary. A young Mary, dressed in blue, holds her traditional symbol of a white lily, as her mother, St Anne, teaches her to read. The Latin text on the open pages reads 'Exultavit cor meum in Domino' ('My heart rejoices in the Lord', 1 Samuel ch2 v1). In the background can be seen several crowned 'A's for St Anne. A small wheatsheaf appears in the bottom left corner, the trademark of the Kempe studio.
