As you proceed to the top floor, you are welcomed at the stair landing by a panel featuring a photograph of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk taken during a train journey. This panel brings together significant landmarks that reflect Turkiye’s history of industry, transportation, and public architecture.
The selection includes important structures such as Uşak Sugar Factory - the country’s first sugar factory opened in 1926 - Sirkeci Railway Station, the Istanbul stop of the Orient Express, Dolmabahce Palace, Haydarpasa Railway Station, and the Grand National Assembly building, which witnessed the founding of the Republic in 1923.
