Standard

Standard made of wood, gilded silver and horsehair.The standard is from Turkey, made before 1657. Both sides of the standard are engraved with the inscription: "The emblem of Sultan Murad, sultan of the sultans, emperor of emperors, padishah of the world". It is not clear which of the sultans called Murad the inscription refers to.
