This painting shows a standing beauty and it seemed quite relevant to the painting of Shin Yun-bok. This woman in the painting is described in lines. Usually early Joseon Period paintings used the line technique, but wrinkles of the clothes and the use of white colours proved that it is a late Joseon period painting. This is a typical beautiful woman of Korea of that period, and naturally shown under skirt and curved shape highlight the exquisite sense of beauty. Her hair style and clothes string type suggest that this painting was completed in 1890.
