The elegantly modeled image of Buddha is in standing posture and with his right hand he is giving eternal assurance to his devotees (abhaya mudra). His left arm holds the skein of his sanghati. His slender body is slightly dropping forward. A circular aureole with lotus-bud border is seen behind his head. This sculpture is blended with Indian and Central Asian elements in facial treatment.
