"My love for art of quiltmaking began in 1991. As I made my first quilt, I knew I had found my creative inspiration. From that day forward my hope was to create handmade quilts that would continue the tradition of our mothers and grandmothers. I strive to achieve the ability to make quilts of my own design and my version of antique quilts that have inspired me.

What I hope to achieve through the artistry of quiltmaking is to inspire those quilters who view my work to experience the joy of creating quilts by hand, and to leave a legacy to my children and grandchildren that they can hold and know that my love for them was stitched into each quilt."
