Statement by Juan Quemado

A statement by the Portuguese Juan Quemado, taken by order of the Council of the Indies, about the arrival in Lisbon of the prisoners Gómez de Espinosa, Mafra, and the minister Morales (Granada, August 9, 1526). Quemado describes how the prisoners had arrived two weeks earlier in the Portuguese capital, where they were held in jail.
