Ted Titus is an artist, hailing from California, who know resides in Berlin, Germany. Originating as
an illustrator Ted moved to photography as his medium of choice. Making heavy use of costuming,
photo studios, and a dynamic editing style, Ted disregards the use of photography as a means of
documentation and instead works conceptually. Focusing primarily on a visual language based
around human action and connection Ted does not leave the discussion of the work to be clearly
found and discussed. Instead taking his work into murkier waters the surreal figures who populate
him images resonate with energy ranging from ethereal to manic leaving the viewer to piece
together the information found in the body language, structuring, and presentation to make their
won interpretation of his work.
