Statue of Liberty float, May Day Parade

Parade float part of 1953 May Day parade on Main Street in Moscow seems to depict the Statue of Liberty holding a buoy with a red cord connected to a represenation of the earth in blue and green paper. A white bird or dove sits on top of the globe, holding a sprig in its beak. Red text on a green field on the side of the float may read "American Way". Two men walk on either side of the float holding long poles Building in background located at 112 North Main, people line the street.
