Steam engine

The machine we have in Parque de las Ciencias, is a steam engine built in Germany in the year 1901 and approximately has a useful power of about 75 horses. It is a machine that works with a steam pressure of about 8 kilos of direct steam, and indirect vapor at 2 kilos. Technically it is called a backpressure machine.
