Stefan Żeromski (author) and Juliusz Osterwa (director, performer of the role of Przełęcki) at work on the play "Uciekła mi przepióreczka…"/"My quail has fled". The premiere of Stefan Żeromski’s comedy “Uciekła mi przepióreczka…”/“My Quail Has Fled” directed by Juliusz Osterwa was held on 7th February 1925. Żeromski wrote the part of Przełęcki especially for Osterwa. The premiere turned out to be “the best-known presentation of a Polish contemporary actor in the entire interwar period”.
