Ancient maps present in the Napoleonic and Austrian cadastre depict the paper mill of Maina Inferiore made up of two main bodies facing the river. Other engravings offer valuable information on the conformation of the production complex and testify to the presence of wooden venetian blinds for drying the sheets on the upper floors.
