With their slender, dolphin-like body, their four legs shaped like paddles and their fin-like tails, the ichthyosaurus, like this Stenopterygius longifrons, were amongst the reptiles best adapted to the marine environment. Along with the plesiosaurus, they were the biggest predators in the Jurassic seas. Actual size of the skull: 40 cm in length
