The Stephens Island Wren is an extinct species of small flightless bird belonging to the family of New Zealand wrens. It was once found throughout New Zealand, but the last living birds were found on Stephens Island at the end of the 19th Century. There are two specimens of the Stephens Island Wren in World Museum, and less than 20 known to be in existence in museums around the world.
