Artist Statement:

Water has been a central theme in my work, for the past 15 years. This works was started at Rockeller Foundation in Italy and completed in Kochi. Water is not just used as a medium but rather what interests me - is water as core material. The nature and properties of water inform my practice. Using water has allowed me to break out of the contours of academic drawing. Allowing my drawings to go beyond description. If anything the fluid nature of water helps my drawings to disrupt line- the line that recreates the world we know
