Members of the Socialist Party of Azania ( SOPA ) held a Candlelight Memorial Ceremony at the Durban City Hall on 12 September 2005 for the anti apartheid activist and founder of the Black Conscioussness Movement Steve Bantu Biko.Biko led the anti- apartheid struggle against white minority rule and was murdered by the apartheid security police in 1977 whilst in detention.PHOTO:www.rajeshjantilal.com
