Still Life with Spoon

One of America's leading modernist artists, Demuth was influenced by cubism during his travels to Europe. He also painted hard-edged, precisionist images of industrial subjects and is best known for his work in watercolor. This still life includes grapes, a pear, a bowl, a pitcher and a textile as well as a spoon.
