This stirrup spouted vessel shows warriors in relief. Moche art provides numerous depictions of military equipment warriors engaged in varied activities. Figures of warrior represent anthromorphized bird warriors or human warriors wearing feathered adornments and bird face masks. They carry shields, lances and triangular clubs similar to those found in burials of the Moche. In addition war weapons and the headgear of the warriors they are always shown with their helmets and protective covering and also shown wearing elaborate ear spools. This polychrome stirrup vessel has decorative motifs incised on it all around the relief. One side of the vessel probably depicts the major Moche deity. The artistic representation of this god is quite consistent.
