They are called half-moon-shaped stone knives due to their shape, which resembles a half-moon. They differ in shape depending on when and where they were made. People put their fingers into the spaces made by the strings put into the holes bore on the center of the knives to harvest grains. Both sides of the stone were sharpened to be used as blades.
