Stones of Venice, Pomegranate

These multi-coloured mosaic tiles that surround the open half of a pomegranate were inspired by the architecture and mosaics of St Marco in Venice. Joe is a British artist who moved to Italy to live and work. He began creating prints in the 1960’s, but retained a handmade quality to his work by painting directly onto his prints, making each piece unique.
