Stories In Movement: Art-Infused Story Circles

A moment at one of the Stories in Movement gatherings. This Vanport Mosaic was designed by Laura Lo Forti and Chisao Hata. These story circles brought elders from Portland’s historic communities of color together to harvest lessons of hope, resistance and resilience for these times. The gatherings focused on intergenerational exchange, listening, restorative engagement, artful infusion and building deeper relationships.
