Straw Poke Bonnet with Mimosa Accent

This poke bonnet of braided straw has a small head section that is flattened at the back and a long deeply-drawn lateral screen with a rim covered in scalloped straw trim. Striped silk taffeta ribbons in greyish white and orange brown are wound round the back of the head and are covered with two arrangements of multi-coloured artificial flowers. An additional delicate floral vine adorns the screen inside, which is lined with pleated silk. The tiebands are made of orange silk satin.
