At the Shuttle Landing Facility, STS-97 Pilot Michael Bloomfield climbs out of the cockpit of a T-38 jet aircraft he flew from Johnson Space Center. He and the rest of the crew have returned to KSC for the launch, scheduled for Nov. 30 at about 10:06 p.m. EST. Mission STS-97is the sixth construction flight to the International Space Station. Its payload includes the P6 Integrated Truss Structure and a photovoltaic (PV) module, with giant solar arrays that will provide power to the Station.
