Plaster study for an altarpiece on the Last Super intended to the Chapel of St. Peter of Alcantara in the Basilica. It was never completed, just a stone corresponding to the upper part, with the draperies and lamp, was sculpted. It probably is the final work by Braz Toscano de Melo, the last Director of the School of Sculpture of Mafra, created in 1753 by King José I.
