Study of landscape, La Barrosa

A follower of Sorolla, acknowledged as the best artist from Cádiz from the first half of the 20th century, Felipe Abarzuza is a good example of the application of Impressionism to local costumbrismo. In the numerous works by this artist which are held in the Museum, his progress in the study of light and colour applied to the landscapes in Cádiz stands out.
