The movie "Bambi" was released in 1942 and features a young deer who will someday be prince of the forest. He befriends several woodland creatures, including a rabbit named Thumper and a skunk Bambi calls Flower. In 1947 the Gund Manufacturing Company began a longlasting partnership with Walt Disney Productions, creating plush figures of popular characters like Mickey Mouse and Minnie, Donald Duck, Daisy, and Donald's three nephews, Snow White, Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, and others. These days, Gund offers soft toys of more recent Disney movies like "The Aristocats," "Monsters, Inc.," and "Cars."
