Stuffed animal:Venus Fly Jitterbug Prototype

Between 1983 and 1984, Harrison/Erickson, Inc. explored a toy line and television concept for Gigglebugz. The television series would feature the Jitterbugs�?apoleon Bee, Venus Fly, Gunter Grasshopper, O. Zone Mosquito, Scarlet Ladybug, and Max Roach. In the Jitterbugs yearbook, Venus is described as loving "the theater, music, all kinds of food, and picnics...lots of energy...and a real pest in the kitchen."
