This piece was commissioned by and published in UCLA magazine circa Fall 1998-for an article documenting the rise in the interest of the Women's Suffrage Movement-I enjoy working in wood and making 3-dimensional cut outs- my own statue/monument to Women's Suffrage-on the piece I have documented key moments along the way including the Seneca Falls Convention and short bios of some of the famous fighters and leaders -it is an older piece but she is very timely and she sits in my work space as inspiration- maybe she will inspire others. We can make good change and justice for all.
