A men's suit made up of a dress coat, waistcoat and breeches, as well as stockings and shoes. Silk dress coat with very narrow, long sleeves and a banded collar. It has a curved shape along the edges of the chest and is decorated with die-cut and embossed metal buttons, with a bay leaf design and imitation cord. Trousers made of Gros de Tours, in dark brown silk. With the arrival of Neoclassicism, the suit reflects order and simplicity, and, from this point on, men began increasingly to link virility to sobriety.

Structural details such as the high, banded collar, the narrow coattails close to the back opening, and the very narrow sleeves date the dress coat to around 1800, when the fashion was for a highly stylized silhouette.
