Sulzbach-Altenwald railway pit

Miners from the Sulzbach-Altenwald pit were photographed on the full mining car on the platforms in front of their mine. In addition to the Saar Coal Canal, the railway was mainly developed as a means of transporting coal. However, the miners from Saarland regions who did not live in a direct mining area liked to use the railway as a passenger transport service.
