This song is a part of a story from the life of Baba Ramdeo, a 14th century Rajput prince, where his sister, Sugni Bai is remembering him in her difficult times while being at her husband’s house. She sings about how her heart is calling out to her brother as she is being troubled by the people around her. She is sad that Baba Ramdeo has not bothered to know about her well being in a long time. So she calls out to Baba Ramdeo to come and rescue her.
