Summmer Garden is one of a series of garden impressions. It was designed intuitively, working with small remnants of dyed fabrics to create the impression of a walkway through a beautiful garden.

Cynthia uses photographs taken during holidays with her husband in the Australian rainforest, outback or barrier reef as the jumping off point for her designs. Through her quilts she wants to make the viewer more aware of the beauty of the natural environment that is being gradually eroded by man's uncontrolled intrusion.
