Sun

The Sun is one of the tapestries in the "Planets" series, displayed in the Room of Tapestries and Liturgical Ornaments. This tapestry features the figure of the god Apollo, representing the first planet, or the Sun, with his zither. In the background, in the distance, a city appears, and on an intermediate level, two figures who could be Apollo and Daphne, referring to the episode of Apollo's love affair with Daphne, which is unrequited by the latter, who tries to flee.
