Twenty-six-sided polyhedron formed by six octagons, eight hexagons, twelve squares, of carved wood glued together. All octagons are flat surfaces painted a creamy yellow and bordered by a teal band. Hour lines are painted in thin brown lines. All squares and hexagons have inscribed concave dial surfaces. The skaphes are painted a creamy yellow with brown and rust colored foreground decorations. The flat arcs circumscribing the skaphes are painted teal. Seams are gilt brown and red paint. Gnomons are iron pins with gilding. The polyhedron is mounted on a turned wooden pillar painted black. It is attached at an octagonal face. This would leave twenty-five sundial faces altogether. One octagonal face (northwest side) and an adjacent face (due north) are currently blank, i.e., have no hour lines--having apparently been damaged and replaced at some past time. Two other square faces (northeast, top and southeast, bottom) are also without hour lines. The lower north hexagon is also with out hour lines. It contains a coat of arms. The coat of arms on the north reclining face has an oval shield, white with red cross, and has green mantling with six red tassels. Inscription: Unsigned
