This sketch for a survey map was likely made by the Master Builder Matthias Spiehler as a preparation for a proposal for a planned garden. It is unclear to which extent the garden was cultivated and when the plans were made. It is likely that the drawings were made on behalf of the second owner at Skokloster, Count Nils Brahe and his wife Margareta Juliana Wrangel.
