“Jajinhanip” is the accompaniment to traditional Gagok without the voice. Jajinhanip is performed in various forms like solo, duet, and other forms of ensembles, and they all have different textures. Suryongeum originally referred to a piece of Dangak, which was imported from Sung China during the Goryeo period and was used as court music in the Joseon period, but is no longer in existence. Nowadays, it refers to the instrumental arrangements of Pyeongnong, Gyerak, and Pyeonsudaeyeop, which are Gagok songs.
