Mukaila Ayoade is a Nigerian artist who trained at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. He works in various media, including watercolor, acrylics, charcoal, and even chicken feathers and newspaper. Ayoade’s work has been exhibited in Nigeria, Ghana, and the USA, and he has experimented extensively with surrealist themes and dreamlike imagery.
This surrealist piece is filled with scattered objects, including a talking drum, a gift box, fruits, and a snake. The random arrangement and dreamlike composition evoke a sense of symbolism and experimentation, aligning with the surrealist tradition of visual art.
