A linocut by the South African artist Justice Mathonsi (b.1987) titled Swa Vutomi aswi heli. With his works Mathonsi pays tribute to the various women from his who raised him and became his grandmothers. He called these detailed works his family tree and brings into perspective the saying that it takes a village to raise a child. Short Biography: Justice Mathonsi was born in Soweto in 1987 but moved to Ribungwani in the Limpopo Province in 1990. He wet to Johannesburg to study architecture in 2011 and enrolled at the Artist Print Studio in 2012 to study printmaking.
