Square piece. Stenciled design in blue on a white background, consisting of three horizontal bands and another three vertical bands forming nine squares. Each square contains an eight-pointed star with curved edges, surrounded by scrolls, and with an eight-petalled flower surrounded by scrolls in the middle. It is lined with cotton gauze with a taffeta weave. It is reminiscent of designs on some Oriental carpets.
