One of a pair of Empire ormolu and lapis two-tiered sweetmeat dishes from the early 19th century (c.1820). Each has a circular ring above a two-tiered scalloped circular rest supported by three Classical style kneeling maidens holding flower baskets raised on a plinth molded with laurel leaves, acanthus, rosettes and anthemia above a water-leaf band and a circular lapis plinth.
