Small wooden ship model believed to be of the 1779 American privateer SWIFT. Mounted to its wooden base is a small white plaque inscribed: American / Privateer / Swift 1779 / by G.H.S. Hevenor. Presented to FDR in May 1941 by the maker, Gedeon H.S. Hevenor, a well-known ship model designer of Waltham, Massachusetts. Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library Museum Collection.
