The paint refers to an event in June 1964, at the Monson Motor Lodge hotel, Saint Augustine, Florida. Martin Luther King (Atlanta, 1929 – Memphis, 1968), leader of the anti-segregationist movement, tried to help himself to lunch and was stopped by the manager.
