Patriotic Carnival at Gilberton Amateur Swimming Club, 11 March 1912- River Torrens, Gilberton.

The platform where swimmers are standing is on the Northern end of the pool and is immediately below the Gilberton swing bridge; the swing bridge was built by Ralph Jervis and other club members. A commemerative stone arch stands at the end of Severn Street Gilberton which was dedicated to Percy Jervis in 1936 - installation of time capsule in the top of the Arch.
